“Sing Our Praise To God” is a jubilant and joyous spiritual, and much fun for choirs and listeners alike. While making use of significant divisi, it is very accessible to any moderate level choir, and yet has a depth that appeals to more advance choirs as well. Built on a simple text of praise, the piece starts relatively subdued and builds twice to grand sections of praise to God. And why the praise? Because, as the music answers: “Jesus Christ will come!”
